City of Longmont Roller Skating Classes and Open Skate- 11/7, 11/21, 12/5, and12/19, 2026.

Join us for a fun and supportive introduction to roller skating! This beginner-friendly class is designed for both kids and adults who are new to skating or looking to build confidence on wheels. During the one-hour class, our instructors will guide you through the basics, including balance, movement, stopping, and building a strong foundation to feel comfortable and safe. Pick as many classes as you want to join, classes are $30 each and include free entry into the pop-up skate session after and skate rental.

After the class, stick around for a two-hour pop-up skating session where you can practice your new skills, enjoy the music, and be part of a positive, community-centered experience. Registration for the pop up session only is an additional fee and is $15 per day.

Roller skate rentals will be available, or you’re welcome to bring your own. All you need is a willingness to try something new and have a good time. Skate rentals are $6 per pair, and payment is collected onsite using Square for added convenience.

Autumn Nights Skate 11/7

Longmont, grab your favorite flannel and get ready to roll! On Saturday, November 7th, Freewheel is bringing another night of roller skating fun to the Memorial Building, and this time, we’re keeping it cozy with an autumn twist.

BREAK OUT YOUR BEST FLANNEL!

Plaid shirts, cozy layers, fall colors, and your favorite autumn look. Wear your best flannel and join the fun! We’ll be giving a prize to the best-dressed flannel fan, so bring your A-game.

ROLLER SKATING LESSONS | 6–7 PM

New to skating? Need a little practice? Our lessons are open to all ages and abilities. Come build your confidence and get ready to hit the floor!

OPEN SKATE | 7–9 PM

After lessons, it’s time to roll! Bring your friends, bring the family, show off your flannel, and skate the night away. Bring your own skates or rent a pair from us.
